Küssnacht Lakeside Terrace

A 45-square-metre terrace above the Vierwaldstättersee required wind-tolerant planting and a colour palette that would not compete with the lake view. We specified clipped Pinus mugo and cascading Calamagrostis along the parapet edge.

Design fee was CHF 3,100. The client implemented the scheme over one weekend using our numbered container placement plan.

Meggen Hillside Retaining

Steep terrain on a 1,200-square-metre plot called for dry-stone pocket planting rather than formal beds. Saxifrage, Sempervivum, and low Genista formed a tapestry visible from the living room window year-round.

This three-phase masterplan was delivered at CHF 11,200 and remains mid-implementation, with phase two scheduled for spring planting.

Emmen Courtyard Revival

A shaded internal courtyard in a 1960s townhouse had become a moss-covered dead zone. We introduced raised ipe planters, shade-tolerant ferns, and a single Amelanchier as a vertical accent.

The styling package cost CHF 4,600 and included contractor liaison during the two-day installation window.

Horw Orchard Understorey

Beneath mature apple trees on a smallholding, we designed a wildflower and bulb understorey that supports pollinators without interfering with fruit production. Camassia and Narcissus varieties were chosen for staggered bloom.

Delivered as a planting plan with species quantities for 340 square metres. Fee: CHF 5,200.

Luzern Altstadt Roof Garden

A penthouse roof terrace received a minimalist scheme of built-in benches with integrated planting troughs, using drought-resistant grasses and spring-flowering crocus in gravel pockets.

Weight-load calculations were coordinated with the building engineer. Total design fee: CHF 2,400.
