What a Phytorinco Plan Contains
Every garden plan arrives as a bound document with a site plan at 1:100 scale, planting plans at 1:50, and a written specification covering soil preparation, mulch depth, and establishment watering. Digital PDFs mirror the printed set.
Plans are drawn to Swiss cartographic conventions with north arrows, contour references, and existing tree positions surveyed during the initial visit.
Layout Drawing Standards
Hardscape elements—paths, steps, retaining edges—are shown as hatched lines with material callouts. Softscape areas receive colour-coded planting zones numbered to match the species schedule.
We include a legend explaining symbol usage and a scale bar that remains accurate when clients photocopy individual sheets for contractor distribution.
Planting Schedules
Each species entry lists botanical name, quantity, pot size, spacing, and preferred supplier. Deciduous trees include girth measurements; perennials specify division-ready clump sizes.
Substitutes are noted only where cultivar availability fluctuates seasonally, preventing contractors from improvising incompatible alternatives on site.
Phasing Documents
Larger commissions include a phasing diagram showing which zones to plant in year one versus deferred years. This helps clients spread nursery costs across seasons without compromising spatial coherence.
Phase boundaries follow logical construction sequences: hardscape first, then structural planting, then groundcover and bulb layers.
Revision Protocol
Two rounds of written revision are included within thirty days of delivery. Clients mark comments directly on printed plans or annotate PDFs, returning them via email or post.
Additional revision cycles beyond the included allowance are billed at CHF 180 per hour, though most projects conclude within the standard two rounds.
Ordering a Plan
Commission a garden plan through our contact page or by telephone. We schedule the site survey within two weeks of deposit receipt and target delivery six weeks thereafter.
Rush delivery within three weeks incurs a CHF 1,200 expedite surcharge to cover overtime drawing hours.
