Rooted in Central Switzerland
Our studio sits between Lake Luzern and the Pilatus foothills, where steep gradients and shifting microclimates demand thoughtful planting. We translate these conditions into garden compositions that feel inevitable rather than imposed.
Every project begins with a walk across the site at different hours, noting where frost lingers, where afternoon sun pools, and how prevailing winds move through the property. These observations become the backbone of our styling brief.
Styling, Not Construction
Phytorinco focuses exclusively on the visual and spatial language of gardens. We produce planting schemes, material palettes, and layout drawings that contractors and homeowners can implement with confidence.
We do not sell plants, install irrigation, or operate as a landscaping firm. Our deliverables are design documents priced in CHF, ranging from CHF 2,400 for a balcony concept to CHF 18,500 for a full estate masterplan.
Seasonal Intelligence
Swiss gardens must perform across four distinct seasons, and our palettes account for snow load on evergreen structure, spring bulb succession, and autumn foliage that reads against grey limestone walls.
Clients receive a seasonal care calendar alongside every planting plan, specifying pruning windows, mulch depths, and fertiliser schedules calibrated to local soil reports.
Recent Commissions
Last autumn we completed a lakeside terrace for a family in Küssnacht, layering low boxwood hedges with native moor grass to frame unobstructed views of the Vierwaldstättersee.
A hillside property in Meggen received a dry-stone retaining concept with alpine saxifrage pockets, delivered as a phased three-year planting roadmap totalling CHF 11,200 in design fees.
